pharmaSys™
pharmaSys™ is effectively free to the community pharmacy as the system costs are met by the PCT. All monthly data updates and system upgrades are also free.

N3 Connection
the pharmaSys™ N3 connection is a 2mb securnet ADSL connection. It has an availability rate of 99.8%. The cost for the connection is £200 per month that is recieved from the NHS. This charge includes the lease of the Cisco 1801 router and firewall.

INSTALLATION

To use ETP you will need an N3 connection. An N3 connection requires a new PSTN line to be installed at your pharmacy branch. pharmaSys™ will arrange this installation for you and send the N3 router direct to your branch.

N3 installation fee is £250.

To use an NHS smartcard you must install the Identity Agent. You can download the Identity Agent once you are a registered user. Installation instructions are included.

pharmaSys™ needs no installation, you just need to browse to the secure internet address to log in.
