ETP Speed
Several pharmacies have mentioned that one of their worries about ETP has been the time it takes to download an ETP script and that they are “locked out” of their PMR system while the script has been scanned and they are waiting for the results, likewise when they send the dispensed data back to the spine.
pharmaSys™ believes that any transactional application needs to be fast and that there should be very little delay in delivering the data to the client. Below are the speeds that have been recorded for ETP scripts over the pharmaSys™ application. The speed calculated is the time taken from scanning the bar code on an ETP script to the time it takes to deliver the ETP data back to the pharmacist screen.
With pharmaSys™ there is no need to wait for the scripts to be downloaded as the scanning interface does not lock up the system and consequently some terminals are able to dispense the ETP scripts while another can be scanning scripts.
As can be seen the pharmaSys™ application is delivers over 64% of the scripts in under a second and due to the system architecture the more pharmacies that use pharmaSys™ the faster the ETP download speeds as can be seen by the monthly percentages below.
